Filings say the quiet part in fixed phrases. “Material weakness” means the controls failed. “Substantial doubt” means the auditor is not sure there is a next year. “Unable to file” means the accounts are not ready. This page is those phrases, found in the text of the filings themselves — every company on the exchange, trailing thirty days.

How this is worked out

EDGAR indexes the full text of every filing. Once a day we ask it for a fixed list of phrases across 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 20-F and the NT late-filing forms, keep the hits that belong to listed companies, and list each company once per phrase with its most recent filing. A company appearing here is not a verdict — the phrase can appear in a resolved matter — but it is always worth the click to find out which. Every row links to the filing it was read from; nothing on this page says more than “this document contains this phrase.”
